RDAIS has welcomed Adam Zarth as its new Chair, marking the start of an exciting new chapter for the organisation.
Adam takes on the role following the departure of Mark McKenzie, who guided RDA through its expansion from Illawarra to Illawarra Shoalhaven and strengthened its reach and impact across the region.
Adam is well known in the region, having led Business Illawarra for six years before moving into national public affairs work. He brings strong experience in advocacy across transport, energy, housing and other major infrastructure issues that matter to local communities.
With Adam at the helm, RDAIS is focused on deepening collaboration with partners, progressing regional priorities, and building on recent projects such as the inaugural State of the Workforce Report. The organisation is also set to deliver new initiatives in the year ahead, including a transport-needs study, business familiarisation visits to attract investment, and a refreshed brand that reflects the region’s growing profile.
